Samira is a surfer drowning on dry land. As she spirals increasingly out of control, she receives help from an unexpected place.

Inspired by Botticelli's Birth of Venus (1486) and Titian's Venus of Urbino (1534) and shot on location in Gowanus and Far Rockaway, Birth of Venus was written by C.C. Kellogg with Clemy Clarke and directed by Clemy Clarke. The film features cinematography by Irene Gomez-Emilsson and production design by Kit Sheridan.
